It's New Year's Day, 2025, and we, Hélène Nicole and David, are currently in Ocala, FL, remodeling our bus-home, preparing our January performances, and reflecting upon 2024 — the love and the music, achievements and challenges, and the excitement of what’s to come in ’25. Sweeping our minds over this past year, we see some magnificent highlights: our fateful meeting on January 5 2024, forming “La Vie Ensemble” only a month thereafter, swiftly creating an original song-list for our duo, a gratis recording session in Toronto at producer Jack Lenz’ studio…our wedding (of course!), a Canadian tour, six weeks in Japan with the grandkids Charlotte, Louis and baby Julien was so unforgettable, plus performances and celebrations with family in Canada and U.S., memorable shows in Detroit, Nashville, Birmingham, and again here in Florida — and so many more special moments.
This reflection inevitably fills us with gratitude, and has us ready to usher in 2025 and everything it has to offer. We are so grateful for the community that is growing around our lives and music, and the wonderful ways in which we feel more and more connected not only with one another, but with family, friends, audience members and online followers. We are truly blessed, and we are committed to giving back in every way we can. You can join our fans list here.
We’re excited to launch our new website, www.lavieensemble.com, allowing us to keep you up-to-date with our performing calendar, our albums, books and merchandise. Other offerings you will find there include ways to connect directly with Hélène Nicole, who is open for business for one-on-one inspiration and personal growth outreach, as outlined in her books and recordings. David is available now as an online music and guitar instructor — and appointments can be made for either directly on the website.
Many of you know we were excited to have auditioned in December for “America’s Got Talent,” and we'll keep you posted if we advance to the next stage — news will come by the end of March. Check out our YouTube Channel for the audition version of “We’ll Never Walk Alone” by La Vie Ensemble.
Our calendar for 2025 is taking shape, with several more winter events here in Florida, a developing tour in Ontario and Quebec, a fall show at the Trinity House Theater in Detroit, and many other opportunities including performances for The French Alliance organization and several other locations throughout the U.S….
And perhaps you can play a big part of this experience by hosting a Home Concert at your own home! Home Concerts are an excellent way to entertain your friends and family — so far, our hosts often organize a pot-luck dinner, and by selling tickets (with our help) offer an evening or afternoon of food, fun, and music. January's theme is ‘Songs of Empowerment’ and our Song of the month is 'L'Autobus'.
Finally, LVE will be helping you to write your songs!
LVE, Life Together As One, challenges you to participate in “This is my song” ! We will help you write your own songs in 2025. It starts on January 8 with a 7-DAY MINI-CHALLENGE. In the spirit of The Bus Song, you will learn to write your own song of courage and hope, and start strong in 2025!
