Song & Conversation – A French Music Gathering - All levels of French, or none, welcome !

Join a relaxed, interactive music session where song becomes a bridge for connection, language, and community.

We begin with simple introductions in French (with an easy model provided for beginners): Je m’appelle… Je viens de… J’habite ici depuis… so everyone can participate comfortably, even with no French experience.

Then we move into singing together with guitar-led songs, including opportunities to shake percussion instruments and join in rhythm. Each song is introduced with a short conversation about its meaning, inviting reflection and shared stories.

We continue with a friendly snack break and informal conversation, including themes like food and daily life. Depending on the group, we may also sing playful songs such as “Moi j’mange” and other food-inspired pieces, and then closing with a few more songs.

This is a welcoming, low-pressure space designed to build confidence in speaking French, connection or reconnection to the language, and joy through music and conversation.
